Peninsula Hot Springs
HOT SPRINGS
Australia's best-known hot springs, and the one most people mean when they say they are driving down for a soak. The Bath House is the general-admission part: over fifty pools, a hilltop pool with a view over the peninsula, and cold plunge pools throughout for contrast bathing. It opens at 7am on weekdays and 5am at weekends, which makes it one of the few places in Victoria you can bathe outdoors before sunrise. Roughly 90 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
